Adventist Outpatient Imaging seeks to hire an experienced Lead CT Technologist
who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of
physical, mental and spiritual healing. Qualified candidates will be eligible
for a $15,000 sign-on bonus. (Current AHC employees not eligible – see below
under additional details.)

As a Lead CT Technologist, you will

  • Perform CT examinations in accordance with the protocols established by the
  • Understand principles and dangers involved in the administration of oral and
  • Properly identify patients, review orders and select scanning protocols in
  • Maximize patient throughput and demonstrate teamwork with coworkers by
  • Work with the Director, Manager and Radiologist to develop policies,
  • Develops staffing schedules to ensure the proper staffing levels relative to
  • Performs employee evaluations, assists in orienting and training of new
  • Is responsible for accreditation requirements and participates in performance

Qualifications include

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Graduate of an AMA/JRCERT Accredited school of Radiography
  • 5 years CT experience preferred
  • 1 year lead experience preferred
  • State of Maryland Radiation Technologist license
  • ARRT (CT)
  • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Work Schedule

Employment Type: Full Time
Hours per Week: 40 Hours
Typical Daily Schedule: 8:00AM- 4:30PM Monday through Friday
Shift Type: Day Shift

$15,000 sign- on bonus over 3 installments (paid at 90 days, 1 year, & 2 years
of hire date) *Current AHC employees are not eligible for a sign-on bonus who
are transferring from one entity to another and/or transferring within their
entity. Employees that have terminated their employment with AHC are not
eligible for a sign-on bonus prior to six months of returning if hired for a
position offering a sign-on bonus.

Pay Range

$39.96 - $59.94

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed
rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.

Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this position is classified as

Key Responsibilities

The Lead CT Technologist performs CT examinations according to radiologist protocols, manages quality control, and assists staff in interventional procedures while ensuring accurate documentation in all relevant computer systems. This role also involves developing staffing schedules, performing employee evaluations, training new staff, and maintaining accreditation requirements.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and be a graduate of an AMA/JRCERT Accredited school of Radiography, holding a State of Maryland Radiation Technologist license and ARRT (CT) certification. Preferred qualifications include 5 years of CT experience and 1 year of lead experience, along with active American Heart Association BLS certification.
