Foundation Health Partners is seeking a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician with interest in geriatric medicine to join our highly experienced team at our Internal Medicine & Senior Care Clinic.
The Opportunity
The FHP Internal Medicine & Senior Care Clinic is built upon a physician-led team providing comprehensive adult primary care, from preventive medicine to the management of chronic and complex conditions. Our team cares for a rewarding and diverse patient population including seniors with multiple medical needs and is we remain deeply committed to preserving Medicare and Medicaid access in Interior Alaska. As an Internal Medicine physician, you’ll focus your expertise where it is needed most by consulting on and managing complex and multisystem conditions while partnering with APPs who support routine check-ins, follow-up visits and acute care needs. This team-based model creates greater access for patients while giving physicians more time to focus on higher acuity care and meaningful clinical decision-making.
Compensation: $350k base salary + production potential. $65k sign-on bonus. Eligible for an annual $10k physician incentive quality metric bonus.
Schedule: 32 patient hours and 8 administrative hours weekly. 7 weeks ATO and 2 weeks CME.
Patient Panel: Diverse adult patient population with a range of acuities including chronic and complex conditions.
Care Team Model: Partner with 1-2 APPs who support routine check-ins, follow-up visits and acute care needs, allowing you to focus more of your time on chronic and complex care.
Comprehensive Campus: Specialists, laboratory services, testing, imaging and pharmacy are available on the same campus making coordination of care easier for both physicians and patients.

Qualifications
Graduate of an approved school of medicine with licensure in state where he/she practices.
Board Eligible/Board Certified by appropriate certifying board. Current DEA number.
Must apply for and maintain Medical Staff membership and clinical privileges at appropriate facilities if required by Physician’s employment agreement. Requires commitment to healthcare and concern for people in distress, critical listening skills and ability to communicate clearly, desire to work with all types of people and work as a team member and excellent interpersonal skills. Able to meet desired business outcomes while maintaining quality of care. Must be willing to update skills constantly.

Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
