Job description
Join UChicago Medicine as a Audiologist III - Full-Time, Days in Chicago, Illinois. Be a part of a world-class academic healthcare system, UChicago Medicine, as an Audiologist III at our DCAM – Hyde Park clinic. Here, you will work alongside our Audiology team.
Key Responsibilities
- Knowledge of appropriate device candidacy requirements, including hearing aids, cochlear implants, osseointegrated devices and assistive listening devices.
- Patient and family counseling, including patient education and appropriate referrals.
Requirements
- Doctor of Audiology (AuD) or PhD in Audiology.
- Illinois Department of Professional Regulation License for Audiology.
- The candidate must have completed the American Speech-Language-Hearing.
- Association (ASHA) or ABA Certificate of Clinical Competence. This includes successful completion of the national board examination.
