The audiologist will perform a full range of diagnostic hearing tests, including comprehensive audiograms and otoacoustic emissions, to determine the nature of hearing problems. They will also consult with patients regarding hearing conservation and assistive listening devices while coordinating care with other medical staff.
Candidates must hold a Doctorate in Audiology and possess a valid state license along with a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A). Additionally, a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required upon hire.
