Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations, including comprehensive assessments and diagnosis of mental health conditions.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including medication management and therapeutic interventions in coordination with the patient’s treatment team.
- Provide ongoing medication monitoring and psychiatric care, develop initial and update pharmacological treatment plans based on patient’s progress.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle changes to promote well
Requirements
- Offer crisis intervention and manage psychiatric emergencies as needed.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay informed of the latest advancements in psychiatry.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives aimed at improving patient care and clinical outcomes.
- Provide supervision to psychiatric nurse practitioners and other healthcare professionals as required. Essential Job Qualifications
