Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations, including comprehensive assessments and diagnosis of mental health conditions.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including medication management and therapeutic interventions in coordination with the patient’s treatment team.
  • Provide ongoing medication monitoring and psychiatric care, develop initial and update pharmacological treatment plans based on patient’s progress.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle changes to promote well

Requirements

  • Offer crisis intervention and manage psychiatric emergencies as needed.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay informed of the latest advancements in psychiatry.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives aimed at improving patient care and clinical outcomes.
  • Provide supervision to psychiatric nurse practitioners and other healthcare professionals as required. Essential Job Qualifications
