Townsen Memorial is hiring for a Full-Time Respiratory Therapist Day Shift at our Houston TX 77072 location! SUMMARY: The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing respiratory care therapies, procedures, and laboratory support to patients of all age groups across the hospital.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides respiratory care treatments and procedures per physician orders, policies, and guidelines.

• Accurately documents patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes in the medical record.

• Reviews physician orders, initiates respiratory protocols, and participates in rounds to support the patient care plan.

• Communicates effectively with physicians, nurses, and other team members to coordinate care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an A. M. A approved associate’s degree certification/registry program OR;.

• Graduate of an A. M. A. approved bachelor’s degree program in respiratory care.

• Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).

• Licensed Respiratory Therapist in the State of Texas; License must remain active and unencumbered while employed
• One (1) year of clinical experience in both critical and non-critical care areas.
