Dietitian
Rate: $40- $42/hour (depending on experience)
Shift: Part-Time

Roscoe Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is looking to add a Dietitian to its

Responsibilities

* Complete and oversee nutritional assessments for newly admitted residents and
develop individualized nutrition care plans
* Monitor resident weights, meal intake, supplements, hydration status,
laboratory values, and therapeutic diet needs
* Collaborate with the Food Service Director, Diet Technician, nursing staff,
therapists, and other disciplines to ensure appropriate nutritional care
* Provide nutrition counseling and education to residents, families, and
facility staff
* Review menus, recipes, dietary consistencies, and nourishment programs to
ensure nutritional adequacy and regulatory compliance
* Participate in care plan meetings, interdisciplinary meetings, and quality
improvement initiatives
* Maintain required documentation, transfer/discharge summaries, and
nutrition-related records
* Assist with policy review, dietary education programs, and maintaining the
facility diet manual
* Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

* Minimum education requirement: Associate's Degree in Dietetics/Nutrition;
Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics/Nutrition preferred
* Minimum experience requirement: Ten full-time equivalent years of education
and supervised experience (1,600 hours of experience equals one year of
credit for every 30 semester hours of education); completion of Bachelor's
program experience requirements preferred
* Valid NYS Dietitian License required
* Strong knowledge of nutritional assessment, care planning, hydration
management, therapeutic diets, and food service operations
* Excellent communication, education, and interdisciplinary collaboration

* Ability to maintain regulatory compliance, confidentiality, and professional
standards
