Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Florida Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a full-time Mental Health Professional to join our team at Lowell Correctional Institution located in Ocala, Florida.
The Mental Health Professional provides mental health case management services to patients in a correctional setting and consults with a multi-disciplinary team in providing comprehensive mental health care, including: intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and providing individual and group therapy.
8am-4:30pm; Monday - Friday Salary - $70K for registered interns and $80K for fully licensed plus benefits Qualifications: Job Qualifications Masters level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution required.
Active mental health professional license in Florida - LMHC, LCSW, LMFT or SW Registered interns Must have active Basic Life Support certification. Minimum of two years’ experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness preferred.
Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
A master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field is required, along with an active Florida LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT license, or status as a registered intern. Active Basic Life Support certification is required; at least two years of direct-care experience with individuals with mental illness is preferred, and candidates must pass a background investigation and obtain applicable security clearance.
