The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients of all ages for acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health needs in a fast-paced urgent care setting. Key duties include ordering and interpreting diagnostics, performing procedures like suturing, and accurately documenting patient care in the EHR.
Candidates must possess an active, unrestricted Texas NP or PA license, relevant board certification (NCCPA for PA, ANCC/AANP for NP with FNP required), and an active DEA license or the ability to obtain one. Proficiency with EHRs and willingness to obtain DOT certification are also mandatory.
