Key Responsibilities
The Social Worker provides short-term, supportive mental health therapy and crisis intervention to individuals recently released from incarceration. They also participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate integrated care and ensure accurate clinical documentation.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work and a valid LMSW issued by New York State. At least one year of experience in mental health counseling, particularly with justice-involved populations or substance use disorders, is required.
