Key Responsibilities

The Speech-Language Pathologist provides clinical services including the diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment of adult and pediatric speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders. Responsibilities also include supervising clinical fellows and graduate students, operating clinical equipment, and collaborating with interdisciplinary staff to develop patient care programs.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program and have successfully completed the National Praxis Examination and a Clinical Fellowship Year. A State of Michigan license and a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA are required, along with at least one year of clinical experience.
