Key Responsibilities

The counselor provides cognitive and motivational services to individuals in residential substance use treatment to support community reintegration. Responsibilities include managing client risk, facilitating recovery groups, coordinating discharge planning, and maintaining clinical documentation.

Requirements

Candidates must have at least a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of one year of supervised counseling experience in substance use disorder treatment. A valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle are also required.
