Key Responsibilities
The Dermatology Nurse Practitioner will perform physical exams, record medical histories, and create patient care plans for residents in skilled nursing facilities. They are also responsible for ordering diagnostic tests, administering treatments, and communicating health issues to the physician on call.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a valid CNP license and have experience in dermatology within a clinical or nursing home setting. A BCLS or ACLS certification and a DEA registration are also required for this position.
