Key Responsibilities
The Optometrist will perform comprehensive eye exams and diagnose ocular diseases for residents in skilled nursing facilities. They are also responsible for prescribing corrective lenses and providing pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree and possess an active state license. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a professional demeanor are required for patient interaction.
