Physician Assistant - Cardiothoracic Surgery | Full-Time, Days

The Physician Assistant will manage post-operative and critically ill cardiothoracic surgery patients in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU), handling responsibilities like ECMO, mechanical ventilation, vasopressor support, and cardiac monitoring with significant autonomy. There are future options for first-assisting in the Operating Room (OR) with continued training and competency.

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant related studies, along with NYS PA Licensure, current NCCPA Certification, ACLS/BLS, NYS Infection Control certification, and DEA Certification compliant with NYS Opioid Prescriber training. Strong general surgical, ICU, or cardiothoracic surgery experience is preferred.
