Key Responsibilities

The Radiation Therapist is responsible for preparing and positioning patients for treatment while delivering prescribed radiation doses accurately. They must also maintain detailed treatment records and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly in compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

Candidates must have a high school diploma with 2 years of experience, an associate degree, or 4 years of relevant experience, along with graduation from an accredited radiation therapy program. Required credentials include BLS certification and eligibility for ARRT, CCI, or ARDMS certification within one year of hire.
