Job description
Join Brown Medicine as a Behavioral Health Attendant – Night Shift in Fall River, Massachusetts, United States. In each of our hospitals, the Behavioral Health Attendant role exists to maintain a safe environment for the patients to whom the Observer is assigned to constantly monitor without distraction. Patients requiring observers are those who are considered high-risk either to themselves or others.

Key Responsibilities
The Behavioral Health Attendant is responsible for maintaining constant, unobstructed observation of high-risk patients to ensure their safety and prevent harm. They must document observations, assist with patient mobilization, and immediately report any changes in condition or behavior to the overseeing Registered Nurse.
Requirements
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and possess an American Heart Association BLS certification. Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills are required, along with the ability to complete facility-specific training upon hire.
