Part-Time Pharmacist (Dispensary) - 18 month contract

Key Responsibilities

The Part-Time Pharmacist is responsible for accurately and safely dispensing all prescriptions while providing pharmaceutical patient care to ensure the highest level of therapeutic appropriateness for patients. Key duties include responding to various scenarios like verifying medication administration, assessing critical medications, handling palliative care prescriptions, and arranging deliveries.

Requirements

Candidates must be currently licensed and in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacy, possessing proven partnership skills with the healthcare team and fluency in written and spoken English. Preferred qualifications include previous long-term care pharmacy experience and knowledge of Kroll software.
