The Respiratory Therapist performs pulmonary therapy, rehabilitation, and diagnostic evaluations for patients with respiratory deficiencies. They are responsible for assessing patient conditions, implementing care plans, and reporting status changes to the medical team.
Candidates must hold an Associate Degree from an accredited respiratory care program and possess a current Respiratory Care Practitioner license. Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications are required, with at least one year of acute or subacute respiratory experience preferred.
