Rehabilitation Veterinarian –
HealingPups at Independence Veterinary Clinic
Salary: $70,000 – $120,000 per year
Sign-on Bonus: $25,000
Location: 2328 Crownpoint Executive Drive, Charlotte, NC
Independence Veterinary Clinic is hiring a full-time OR part-time Rehabilitation Veterinarian to join HealingPups, our large and growing physical therapy and animal rehabilitation program. You'll guide canine patients through recovery from orthopedic surgery, manage chronic conditions like arthritis and neurological disease, support senior pet mobility, and help condition sporting and working dogs — all using advanced therapeutic techniques in a purpose-built rehab environment.

What You'll Do
Design and lead individualized rehab plans for patients recovering from orthopedic surgery, living with arthritis or neurological disease, or needing pain, weight, or mobility management.
Deliver hands-on and technology-supported therapies including hydrotherapy, therapeutic laser, manual techniques, and tailored strength and conditioning programs.
Partner with our medical team and pet families to track progress, celebrate milestones, and adjust plans to meet each dog where they are.
Help shape the continued growth of HealingPups as a leading rehab destination in the Charlotte area.
Requirements
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an accredited institution
Valid veterinary license in the state of North Carolina
CCRP, CCRT, or equivalent canine rehabilitation certification
