Key Responsibilities
The Behavioral Health Clinical Specialist completes patient assessments, documents clinical activities, and provides therapeutic interventions including individual and group therapy. They also serve as a liaison between physicians, families, and treatment teams to facilitate effective discharge planning and person-centered care.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field and possess at least one year of clinical experience. Required certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) and relevant state clearances (Act 33, 34, and 73).
