Key Responsibilities

The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will diagnose and treat mental health disorders while providing individual and group therapy. They are also responsible for prescribing medications, maintaining patient records, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Nursing with a Psychiatric specialty and possess active ANCC or AANP board certification. A minimum of 12 months of post-licensure experience in a psychiatric clinical setting is required, along with active state licensure and DEA registration.
