Salary

• Associate/Provisional: $65,000 - 70,000 per year
• Fully Licensed: $70,000 - 80,000 per year

Are you a purpose-driven clinician passionate about guiding adolescents through meaningful transformation? Sunrise Residential Treatment Center is seeking a compassionate, skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic, trauma-informed team.

At Sunrise, we blend clinical excellence with heart. Set against the serene backdrop of southern Utah, our campus offers a safe, home-like environment where girls and boys ages 12–17 can heal, grow, and thrive. We specialize in relational, experiential, and evidence-based care that addresses trauma, emotional regulation, and family systems.

Responsibilities

Manage a small, intentional caseload (6 clients) to ensure deeply personalized, high-quality clinical care with a strong emphasis on family engagement and parent coaching.

Facilitate Individual, Family, and Group Therapy using trauma‑informed, evidence‑based, and systemic modalities to drive meaningful and lasting change.

Create comprehensive discharge plans and review them collaboratively with youth and their families to ensure continuity of care.

Maintain clinical compliance with timely, accurate documentation and adherence to MTP (Master Treatment Plan) standards.

Deliver a client‑centered, culturally competent therapeutic experience, tailoring interventions to the unique needs of each adolescent and family system.

Evidence-Based Practice: Apply proven modalities like DBT, TF-CBT, ACT, Smart Recovery, and Seeking Safety to support client progress.

Collaborative Approach: Partner with a multidisciplinary team—including psychiatrists and physicians—for holistic treatment.

Qualifications

Associate: Certified Social Worker (CSW), Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) & Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor (ACMHC).

Fully Licensed: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) & Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).

Master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences - Social Work (MSW,) Clinical Social Work (CSW,) Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) or a related discipline.

Preferred - Two years of working experience as a therapist leading individual, family, and group therapy sessions.

Preferred - One year of experience in a residential setting using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities.

Ability to pass a state background check.

Required to have CAQH profile established or updated if you have one and obtain an NPI number for credentialing purposes.
