About the Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our growing ENT practice in Huntsville, Alabama. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a provider who wants to build long-term expertise in otolaryngology, develop strong relationships with patients, and work closely with an experienced physician mentor and supportive clinical team.

As an integral member of the practice, you'll manage your own patient care responsibilities while collaborating with ENT physicians on complex cases, gaining exposure to a diverse range of ear, nose, and throat conditions and office-based procedures.

If you're looking for an opportunity to grow as a provider, develop specialized clinical expertise, and become an important part of a collaborative practice, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

Provide Comprehensive Patient Care

  • Perform physical examinations and clinical assessments.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic ENT-related conditions within your scope of practice.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's needs.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with applicable state requirements and practice protocols.
  • Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic and laboratory testing.
  • Provide postoperative care and ongoing patient follow-up.
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment options, preventive care, and follow-up recommendations.

Develop Your ENT & Procedural Expertise

  • Work closely with experienced ENT physicians to expand your specialty knowledge and clinical skills.
  • Participate in and assist with office-based ENT procedures as appropriate.
  • Gain experience managing a diverse range of ear, nose, throat, allergy, and related conditions.
  • Develop increasing confidence and independence in specialty patient care.
  • Remain current on evolving clinical practices, treatments, and standards of care.

Collaborate With Our Care Team

  • Partner closely with physicians, Medical Assistants, and other members of the clinical team to provide coordinated, high-quality care.
  • Collaborate with physicians on complex cases and treatment decisions when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation within the electronic health record.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, providers, and members of the clinical team.
  • Participate in quality improvement, peer review, and continuing education activities.
  • Contribute to a positive, respectful, and team-oriented practice environment.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a provider who is clinically confident, compassionate, curious, and excited to continue growing professionally.

The right candidate will enjoy the autonomy that comes with practicing as an advanced practice provider while also valuing collaboration and mentorship from experienced physicians.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current national Nurse Practitioner certification through AANP or ANCC.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage patients independently while recognizing when physician collaboration is appropriate.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy outpatient environment.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a practicing Nurse Practitioner.
  • Experience in ENT, allergy, family medicine, internal medicine, urgent care, or another outpatient specialty.
  • Experience with office-based procedures.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record systems and clinical documentation.
  • Interest in building long-term expertise in otolaryngology.
  • You'll Thrive Here If You...
  • Want to grow as a provider and develop deeper expertise in a specialty.
  • Enjoy establishing meaningful relationships with patients.

  • Are comfortable practicing independently while also being part of a close-knit clinical team.
  • Enjoy both clinical evaluation and hands-on patient care.
  • Are curious, motivated, and eager to continue learning.
