The Radiation Therapist performs simulations and delivers therapeutic ionizing radiation to patients as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. They also assist physicians and staff to provide optimum care and treatment to patients.
Candidates must be graduates of an AMA-approved Radiation Therapy Technology program and hold an Oregon Radiation Therapist License. Additionally, national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is required upon hire.
