Key Responsibilities
The Nurse Practitioner will spend 75% of their time collaborating on treatment plans, conducting individual psychotherapy, prescribing medications including controlled substances, and educating patients and families. The remaining time involves documentation compliance (15%) and patient assessment/diagnosis (10%).
Requirements
Candidates must have 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner and hold a Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license. Required experience includes working with adults needing general mental health or severe mental illness treatment, comfort working with patients across the lifespan (13+), and knowledge of mental health/substance abuse dual diagnoses.
