Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • As a Team Leader, they provide clinical supervision to an interdisciplinary group of staff including social workers, LMHC’s, LMFT’s, and/or Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse (CASAC) counselors.
  • The social worker is an integral member of the Clinic, providing comprehensive mental health services to individuals, ages 16 or older, who have serious and persistent mental illness.
  • In this role they provide psychosocial assessment and treatment to individuals through the development of client-driven goals, primarily based in the community.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited program and possess or be eligible for New York State licensure. At least 3 years of post-graduate clinical experience working with individuals with chronic mental illness is preferred.
