The physician will evaluate, diagnose, and treat child and adolescent patients suffering from mental, behavioral, addictive, or emotional disorders in an outpatient practice setting. Responsibilities include conducting initial new patient appointments lasting 60 minutes and follow-up medication management appointments lasting 30 minutes.
Candidates must possess an M.D. or D.O. degree and have successfully completed an ACGME, AOA, or Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada accredited Psychiatry residency program, followed by two additional years of residency training in child and adolescent psychiatry. Applicants must also demonstrate active involvement in the care of at least 30 child or adolescent patients within the last 12 months.
