Radiation Therapist

Join New Jersey Urology as a Radiation Therapist in United States. Under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor, apply high quality radiation treatments to the patient in accordance with the prescription and instructions of the Radiation Oncologist. What You’ll Be Doing Checks prescriptions, diagnoses, electronic charts and patient identifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain log of all reported issues.

Requirements

• Delivers accurately the prescribed planned course of radiation therapy under the general supervision of the Radiation Oncologist and Radiation Administrator.

• Maintains visual and audio communication with patient receiving treatment at all times.

• Accurately and neatly maintains patient markings and all documentation regarding setup requirements.

• Observes patient for any unusual reactions or symptoms requiring medical intervention and reports these issues to nursing and/or the radiation oncologist.

Benefits & Compensation

• Pay rate: $55.00–$60.00 per hour.

Work Schedule

• Full-Time position.

• Night or evening shifts may be required.
