PRN Radiation Therapist

Key Responsibilities

The Radiation Therapist is responsible for administering prescribed doses of radiation to specific body parts using radiation therapy equipment according to established standards, which includes verifying treatment doses and ensuring patient safety protocols are followed. Key duties involve simulating patients, maintaining accurate documentation, observing clinical progress, and adhering to safety procedures while working closely with the Radiation Oncologist.

Requirements

Candidates must be ARRT Board eligible and possess certification in Radiation Therapy Technology from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, with a graduate degree from an accredited school being preferred. A flexible schedule is required for this PRN position, which involves working on projects of moderate scope and complexity while applying working knowledge of radiation therapy concepts.
