Key Responsibilities
The Oncology Nurse Navigator coordinates care for surgical oncology patients across the continuum by removing barriers and facilitating multidisciplinary communication. They also track patient outcomes, develop clinical protocols, and serve as the primary point of contact for patients and their families.
Requirements
Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in oncology nursing or a similar navigation role. An Associate degree in Nursing is required, while a Bachelor's degree is preferred, along with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
