Job Description

MedVet Cincinnati is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Neurologist to join our collaborative, multi-specialty team in Cincinnati, Ohio.

At MedVet Cincinnati, our expert team cares for more than 30,000 patients annually, providing advanced emergency and specialty veterinary services throughout Greater Cincinnati. Our hospital operates 24/7 and offers a wide range of specialty services supported by leading-edge technology and a highly collaborative culture. The 28,000-square-foot facility features MRI, CT/angiography, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, telemetry, bronchoscopy, endoscopy, laparoscopy, and multiple surgical suites, providing the resources needed to practice at the highest level.

Neurology at MedVet

At MedVet, neurologists have access to advanced technology, strong specialty collaboration, and a diverse caseload that supports both medical and surgical neurology.

  • Our Neurology teams utilize advanced diagnostic capabilities including:
  • MRI and CT imaging
  • Electrodiagnostics (EMG/NCV)
  • CSF analysis
  • BAER testing

Neurologists manage a broad range of neurologic disorders including epilepsy, meningitis, vestibular disease, and syringomyelia while also performing advanced neurosurgical procedures such as:

  • Tumor resections
  • Spinal decompression procedures
  • Wobbler syndrome distraction-fusion surgeries
  • Intervertebral disc disease (IVDD) surgeries
  • Ventriculoperitoneal shunt placement
  • Skull fracture stabilization
