• Assists in the supervision of Respiratory Technicians.

• Makes regular rounds of assigned patients to assess patient status, ensures

• Reviews current Physicians’ to ensure orders are being followed.

Requirements

• Confers with patients and/or family members to obtain pertinent patient information such as history of respiratory problems, current medications, past medical/surgical history.

• Reviews patient's charts/computer to obtain blood

• gas results, radiography reports, and other pertinent information.

• Provides patients and their families with education on their respiratory disease and care.
