NOW HIRING — SURGICAL AFFILIATES MANAGEMENT GROUP (SAMGI)

Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon Glendale, Arizona | Level II Trauma Center | 15 Days per Month High-acuity trauma. Dedicated OR access. A schedule built for sustainability. This is orthopedic trauma care with the resources to move quickly — dedicated operating room access, Advanced Practice Provider support 10 hours per day, and a predictable schedule of approximately 15 days each month. You’ll manage complex injuries alongside a multidisciplinary trauma team while maintaining meaningful time away from the hospital.

The Opportunity
Surgical Affiliates Management Group (SAMGI) is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join a growing program at a Level II Trauma Center in Glendale, Arizona. You’ll provide operative and non-operative management of acute orthopedic injuries and complex fractures in a well-supported, hospital-based environment. The program includes dedicated OR access and daily APP support, with a preferred start timeframe of December 2026.

Schedule
Approximately 15 days per month
Full-time, hospital-based orthopedic trauma coverage
Advanced Practice Provider support approximately 10 hours per day
Dedicated operating room access
Preferred start: December 2026

What You’ll Do
Provide operative and non-operative management of orthopedic trauma patients
Evaluate and treat acute fractures and high-energy orthopedic injuries
Participate in orthopedic trauma call coverage at a Level II Trauma Center
Manage complex fracture care, including pelvic and acetabular injuries within training and scope of practice
Perform urgent and emergent orthopedic trauma procedures using dedicated OR resources
Provide inpatient consultations, postoperative management, and appropriate follow-up care
Collaborate closely with trauma surgery, emergency medicine, anesthesia, ICU, nursing, rehabilitation, and APP teams
Maintain timely documentation and participate in trauma quality and performance-improvement initiatives as appropriate

What You Bring to the Team
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency
Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma
Experience managing high-acuity orthopedic trauma and complex fracture cases
Pelvic and acetabular fracture experience strongly preferred
Current or eligible Arizona medical license
Eligible for hospital credentialing and surgical privileges
Strong communication, collaboration, and commitment to high-quality patient-centered trauma care
