Key Responsibilities

This role involves providing nutritional care to hospital patients by assessing needs, developing nutrition plans of care based on comprehensive data review, and monitoring outcomes. Responsibilities also include documenting patient progress, directing support personnel, and conducting patient and professional nutrition education.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Food and Nutrition and have completed an ACEND accredited supervised practice program, passing the RDN national examination. A Rhode Island Dietitian/Nutritionist License is required within three months of hire, alongside a thorough understanding of nutrition principles applied to adult and pediatric disease states.
