Job description
Join BHS as a Clinic Specialty Pharmacist – Gastroenterology in Lexington, Kentucky, United States. The Clinic Specialty Pharmacist acts as an extension of ambulatory clinic teams to support patient access to high touch, complex medication therapies. This position is based in a specialty medical clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities
The Clinic Specialty Pharmacist provides clinical consultation, medication education, and chronic disease management to patients within a gastroenterology clinic. They also supervise Specialty Pharmacy Care Coordinators and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient medication regimens.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Doctorate of Pharmacy and a Kentucky Board of Pharmacy license. Preferred qualifications include 1-3 years of experience, completion of an ASHP accredited residency, and experience in ambulatory clinical pharmacy.
