Key Responsibilities

This role independently provides and maintains peripheral and central venous access, conducting patient assessments and making recommendations for care while serving as a specialist resource. Core functions include inserting and maintaining various lines like PICC and central lines using ultrasound, reviewing placement via chest x-rays, and ensuring sterile technique.

Requirements

Candidates must possess an Associate or technical degree and be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in good standing with the NBRC, holding current state licensure. A minimum of four years of clinical experience as an RRT, including one year of independent PICC or CVC line insertions, is required, along with BLS and ACLS certifications.
