Key Responsibilities
The Behavioral Health Specialist assesses refugee students and families to connect them with mental health resources and services. They also provide mental health training to students, parents, and teachers while developing social-emotional learning curricula.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field and possess a background as a Community Health Worker. At least one year of experience in the mental health field and a valid Texas Driver's License are required.
