The pharmacist will review prescriptions for therapy appropriateness, interactions, and safety while providing clinical consultations and documenting interventions. They are also responsible for counseling patients, supervising pharmacy technicians, and managing inventory within the hospital setting.
Candidates must hold a Pharm.D. degree and an active, unrestricted Alaska pharmacist license. Additionally, Basic Life Support certification and experience in inpatient hospital pharmacy operations are required.
