Key Responsibilities

Radiology Technologists are responsible for preparing patients, positioning them correctly, and operating x-ray equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. They also collaborate with nursing staff, document clinical information, and ensure patient safety throughout the imaging process.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Radiology program and hold a current ARRT registration and Florida license as a General Radiographer. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, and two years of experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
