Key Responsibilities

The Registered Psychologist will play a key role in supporting patients within a government-funded Chronic Pain Program, providing comprehensive, evidence-based care for complex and persistent pain conditions. This involves utilizing evidence-based methods to meet clear treatment objectives such as increasing functional abilities and work reintegration.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Ph.D. or Master’s Degree in Psychology and hold current registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists, with required experience in chronic pain management and evidence-based trauma-focused therapy. Formal training in diagnostic assessments like MMPI-3 or PAI is considered an asset.
