Psychologist Reviewer - Kansas - part time

Key Responsibilities

The Psychologist Reviewer collaborates with providers and Medical Directors to determine the medical necessity and appropriateness of behavioral health services, including ABA and various therapy modalities. They also conduct pre-certification, concurrent reviews, and appeals while mentoring care management staff.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical or counseling psychology and hold an active, unrestricted license to practice in Kansas. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a behavioral health or clinical setting is preferred, along with experience in managed care.
