Key Responsibilities
The Radiation Therapist operates x-ray therapy equipment to simulate and treat patients for malignancies and pain. They are also responsible for documenting procedures, verifying treatment accuracy, and performing daily equipment quality assurance checks.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy Technology or be a graduate of a CAHEA accredited school. Current registration or registry eligibility with the ARRT is required, with successful completion of the examination within one year of hire.
