- Lead, develop, and coach a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to ensure high performance, engagement, and accountability.
- Establish, communicate, and uphold clear performance expectations and operational standards for the team.
- Maintain pharmacy operations in compliance with all state Board of Pharmacy regulations.
- Drive communication and alignment between pharmacy leadership and staff by proactively facilitating open, consistent dialogue across all shifts and locations.
- Lead and contribute strategically in weekly leadership meetings, owning discussions on workflow optimization, compliance, quality initiatives, and system enhancements.
- Promote a positive, motivating leadership presence in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.
- Actively coach and develop team members through daily observation, timely recognition, and constructive feedback, reinforcing safety, quality, productivity, and collaboration standards. Ensure proper onboarding, training, and ongoing development for all team members.
- Actively lead the workforce through process changes and sharing insights with pharmacy leadership.
- Manage scheduling and resource allocation across operations to deliver cost and customer service goals.
- Utilize data continuous improvement and standard adherence through clear communication, accountability, and positive reinforcement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure smooth pharmacy and fulfillment operations.
- Perform staff pharmacist duties as needed.
- Maintain active, up to date applicable pharmacist licenses.
- Lead and execute Chewy’s Clinical Oversight and Quality Program, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards, internal policies, and standard processes.
- Lead and execute the Quality Related Event (QRE) program, incorporating data from multiple sources (e. g., internal defect reporting, customer feedback) to drive root cause analysis, and provide coaching and continuous improvement
- Other duties as assigned. What you’ll need:
- Active pharmacist license in the state of application with license in good standing and other states and credentials as needed.
- Preferred 2-4 years’ supervisory experience in a call center or fulfillment center environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze data using Tableau, excel tools, and other BI resources.
- Ability to manage a team in a fast paced, high-volume environment
- Ability to work a variety of schedules including evenings, holidays, and weekends
