The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will perform first-assisting in the operating room, rounding, bedside procedures, and manage patient admissions, discharges, and consults. They will work in collaboration with surgeons across various specialties including General, Robotic, Bariatric, and Thoracic surgery.
Candidates must hold an unrestricted Connecticut medical license and be a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP certified). A minimum of 1 year of experience in a surgery setting is required, and Nurse Practitioners must possess RNFA certification.
