Job description

Meet Luro Health
Luro Health is a mission-driven telehealth organization committed to improving health outcomes for Medicare and Medicaid patients through evidence-informed, multidisciplinary care. We partner with safety-net providers to expand access, reduce friction in care delivery, and deliver measurable outcomes for underserved communities. As an early-stage, rapidly growing health tech start-up, we are building a world-class team that combines clinical rigor, operational excellence, and practical technology to scale high-quality care nationally.

How You’ll Contribute

Part-Time Supervising Psychiatrist | Remote |10-20 Hours Per Week | $110-$125/Hour

Luro Health is seeking a board-certified psychiatrist to provide clinical supervision and leadership for a growing virtual behavioral health program serving Medicare and Medicaid populations. As one of the earliest psychiatric clinical leaders at Luro Health, you'll help establish the standards, workflows, supervision model, and quality framework that guide care as we scale nationally.
This role is ideal for a psychiatrist seeking a flexible, fully remote leadership position focused on provider supervision, quality oversight, and clinical program development rather than managing a full patient panel.

What You’ll Do
Serve as supervising physician for psychiatric APPs, including PMHNPs, and provide clinical oversight for LCSWs delivering psychotherapy, in accordance with applicable state laws and scope-of-practice requirements.
Establish and maintain clinical standards for adult behavioral health populations across psychiatric and psychotherapeutic care.
Providing clinical consultation on complex cases
Conducting chart reviews and quality audits
Supporting behavioral health protocols and care standards
Participating in occasional case reviews and team meetings
Advising on program development as we scale

What We’re Looking For
M. D. or D. O. with Board certification in Psychiatry is required
Active psychiatry license in Pennsylvania and/or Vermont
Active unrestricted license in at least one participating state
Ability to obtain additional licenses with company support
Experience supervising psychiatric APPs and/or LCSWs in telehealth or multi-state environments preferred.
Strong knowledge of psychiatric clinical guidelines, quality metrics, documentation expectations, and regulatory requirements.
Experience with Medicaid and Medicare populations and integrated behavioral health care models strongly preferred.
Demonstrated leadership in clinical program development, provider oversight, and quality improvement.
Excellent communication skills with care teams, cross-functional partners, and patients.
Comfort operating in a growing, remote-first organization where clinical rigor, collaboration, and practical problem-solving matter.

Schedule & Compensation
Hours: ~10-20 hours/week, with flexibility based on availability and program needs.
Hourly rate: $110-$125/hour; Compensation is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and overall role fit.
Why Join Luro Health
Work remotely while delivering high-quality nutrition care within a team-based model at a rapidly scaling virtual care organization focused on redefining obesity treatment. If you are passionate about clinical operations, operational excellence, and transforming healthcare for underserved populations, we encourage you to apply.
