Job Description
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – Hybrid
STEPS Behavioral Health is looking for an experienced and motivated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing team. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while maintaining meaningful in-person connections with clients and team members.
We are seeking both part-time and full-time BCBAs who are passionate about providing high-quality ABA services and want the flexibility and support to do their best work.
Location & Hybrid Guidelines
This is a primarily remote position with a 25% in-person requirement in Maryland, which may be fulfilled through scheduled travel to Maryland approximately once per month. Candidates must also have East Coast evening availability to accommodate client needs.
Compensation
- $85–$95/hour, plus an additional 20% pay incentive for meeting the 25% in-person requirement
- Paid for both client-facing and administrative time
- $1,500 sign-on bonus
- $500 after 3 months
- $1,000 after 6 months

What You'll Do
As a BCBA with STEPS, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working alongside a collaborative clinical team. Responsibilities include:
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Conduct assessments and analyze clinical data
- Monitor client progress and adjust programming as appropriate
- Provide supervision, training, and ongoing support to RBTs
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to promote skill development and generalization
- Provide parent and caregiver training
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with other members of the client's care team
- Ensure services meet clinical, ethical, and payer requirements
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field
- Current BCBA certification
- Ability to meet applicable Maryland licensure/certification requirements
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong organization, time management, and follow-through
- East Coast evening availability
- Ability to travel to Maryland to meet the position's in-person requirements
- At least one year of telehealth experience preferred
