Key Responsibilities
The Utilization Review Clinician evaluates medical records to determine medical necessity and approves post-acute care services based on clinical guidelines. They collaborate with healthcare providers and medical directors to ensure appropriate care levels and seamless transitions for patients.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an active RN, OT, or PT license and possess a bachelor's degree. A minimum of 4-6 years of clinical experience is required, with preference given to those with utilization review or managed care background.
