Centra Behavioral Health Hospital is a brand-new 72 bed behavioral health
facility that recently opened. We offer high-quality, compassionate care for a
wide variety of patients in need. Our teams provide evidence-based,
transformational care for a broad range of mental health concerns in a
compassionate, comfortable environment.

How you'll contribute 

A Pharmacist who excels in this role

* Accurately fills medication orders and verifies the work of staff prior to
medication release.
*  Prioritizes workflow to ensure timely preparation of STAT, NOW, and other
urgent orders.
* Reviews patient profiles to ensure safe and appropriate drug therapy,
preventing interactions, duplications, and avoidable adverse reactions.
* Evaluates medication orders based on patient-specific factors including age,
weight, renal function, disease state, labs, and other clinical data.
* Provides drug information and supports staff education, patient consultation,
and collaboration with Medical Staff and hospital teams.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited
school. Additional requirements include:

* Licensed Pharmacist in the state in which the facility operates. 

* Two years of pharmacy experience preferred.

* De-escalation certification is required within 30 days of employment and
prior to any patient contact.

Hourly Rate: $60.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

The pharmacist is responsible for accurately filling medication orders and verifying the work of staff to ensure patient safety. They also provide clinical drug information, support staff education, and collaborate with medical teams to optimize patient therapy.

Requirements

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school and possess a valid pharmacist license in the state of operation. Two years of pharmacy experience is preferred, and de-escalation certification is required within 30 days of employment.
