Deputy Program Director, Academy for Community Behavioral Health

Key Responsibilities

The Deputy Program Director will provide operational and strategic leadership to advance the Academy’s vision, mission, values, and goals, focusing on strengthening internal operations, public programs, and essential infrastructure and relationships. Key duties include overseeing daily operations, managing workstreams, ensuring funded deliverables are met, providing program leadership through subject matter expertise, and directly supervising key staff members.

Requirements

Candidates must possess an advanced degree in a related field and at least ten years of relevant professional experience with progressive responsibility, including a minimum of five years supervising direct reports. Essential qualifications include a successful record in senior management, expertise in creating or leading learning/capacity-building programs in behavioral health, and advanced knowledge of community behavioral health.
